LIVING WITH ART

Walking through the hotel becomes a discovery of Vienna's inspirations, involving guests with Vienna's contemporary art scene. Museums, cultural institutions and galeries get the opportunity to present themselves by showing orignials from their collection, mostly connected to a current exhibition.

The KUNSTHALLE WIEN, the city's exhibition hall for international contemporary art, has chosen the hotel's Cafè Boulevard as location for their recent project 'photo wall' presenting photo- and video works by young artists. 

Academy of Fine Arts ...
presents video works of students and graduates in the hotel bar area. The lecturer for art and digital media puts together an alterning program especially for the Video Lounge in regular intervals, and selects up-to-date, thrilling and groundbreaking video positions in this scope.

University of Applied Arts ...
The showcases of the UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED ART gives guests the opportunity to take a look at the new works of the university's fashion class, initiated by professor Veronique Branquino and professor Raf Simons.

Gallery Wall ...
A wall at the bar serves as "announcement board" for current exhibitions - the so called GALLERY WALL. It is used by Viennese galleries who advertise current shows (with original works each).
